Product detailed description
Why work with the UV lamp UNIQUE?
With classic eyelash extensions, the polymerisation of the lash adhesive occurs gradually, and its speed can be influenced by temperature and relative air humidity.
With the UV lash system, the stylist has complete control over the curing moment.
After correctly placing the artificial eyelashes, the stylist activates the UV light using a pedal, which cures the compatible UV adhesive in approximately 1–3 seconds. The bond is thus stabilised directly during application, allowing the stylist to continue working seamlessly.
UV lash adhesive curing in 1–3 seconds
UNIQUE utilises UV LED technology with a wavelength of 395–400 nm.
The light activates the compatible UV adhesive the moment the artificial eyelashes are correctly positioned. The stylist therefore does not have to wait for the bond to cure gradually and can proceed with application on adjacent eyelashes.
This helps to streamline the workflow and reduce unwanted sticking of adjacent eyelashes or the closing of created volume fans.
Less dependence on temperature and humidity
With classic lash adhesives, changes in salon conditions can affect the speed of polymerisation.
With the UV system, the curing of the compatible Adhesive is specifically activated by light, making the process less dependent on common fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
However, specific working conditions must always be adapted to the recommendations of the manufacturer of the UV Adhesive used.
Faster lash workflow
Controlled curing of each bond can speed up the entire process of eyelash Extensions.
With the correct technique, the UV system can provide a time saving of approximately 15–30 minutes per set. Actual savings depend on the stylist's experience, the Application technique, and the type of set being created.
Stable bond without waiting for further curing
UV light allows the stylist to cure the bond at the exact moment the artificial eyelashes are correctly positioned.
The UV lamp itself, however, does not guarantee a specific retention length. Application longevity is also influenced by the preparation of natural lashes, the correct amount of Adhesive, the contact area, the stylist's technique, the natural lash growth cycle, and subsequent client aftercare.
With a compatible UV system, it is not necessary to use a bonder or booster solely to accelerate the curing of the Adhesive – this is handled by the UV light.
UV lash system and Adhesive fumes
With UV technology, the applied adhesive is specifically cured shortly after the bond is created, reducing the time it remains in an uncured state.
However, this does not mean that UV lash Adhesives are fume-free or without the risk of hypersensitivity.
UV technology does not exclude the possibility of irritation or an allergic reaction to the components of the lash Adhesive and should not be presented as a solution for allergies to cyanoacrylates or other adhesive components.
What can the client do after a UV Application?
Because compatible UV adhesive is cured by light during the Application, there is no need to wait for further curing solely due to contact with water or increased humidity.
Specific lash aftercare should always follow the recommendations of the manufacturer of the UV Adhesive used. When using a sauna, wellness centre, solarium, or during intense exercise, it is also necessary to consider the comfort of the eye area and other post-Application recommendations.
Foot pedal for hands-free control
The UV light is activated using a foot pedal.
This allows the stylist to keep both hands free for working with Tweezers during curing. The light is activated only at the moment when the artificial eyelashes are correctly positioned.
Hands-free control also simplifies the integration of UV technology into the lash stylist's usual workflow.
Flexible adjustment of the working position
The lamp's design allows its position to be adapted to the lash bed and the stylist's working position.
The height can be adjusted within a range of approximately 110–180 cm, and the recommended distance of the light source from the eyelashes is approximately 10–15 cm.

Safe working with the UNIQUE UV lamp
UNIQUE is a professional device designed for work with the UV lash system.
During Application, we recommend using suitable protective goggles designed for the used UV light wavelength, minimising unnecessary skin exposure and activating the lamp only for the time required for the Adhesive to cure.
Do not look directly into the light source and always follow the lamp's instructions for use as well as the safety and working guidelines of the manufacturer of the specific UV Adhesive.
FAQ – UNIQUE UV Lamp 10 W
How does the UV lamp for eyelash extensions work?
An artificial eyelash is applied using a compatible UV lash Adhesive. Once correctly positioned, the stylist activates the lamp using the foot pedal and the UV light specifically cures the created bond.
How quickly does UNIQUE cure UV adhesive?
Compatible UV lash adhesive cures in approximately 1–3 seconds, depending on the system used and the working process.
What is the wavelength of the UNIQUE UV lamp?
The lamp operates in the range of 395–400 nm.
What is the power of the lamp?
UNIQUE has a power of 10 W.
Does the UV lash system work independently of humidity?
The curing process in the UV system is less dependent on common fluctuations in temperature and relative humidity, as it is activated by light. However, it is always necessary to respect the conditions set by the manufacturer of the specific UV Adhesive.
Do I need a special adhesive for the UV lamp?
Yes. UNIQUE is designed for use with compatible UV adhesives for eyelash extensions. Standard lash adhesive is not automatically suitable for UV curing.
Do I need a bonder or booster with a UV lash system?
Not for the acceleration of the curing of compatible UV adhesive alone – the curing is ensured by the UV light. The use of further preparation or finishing products is governed by the specific lash system.
Does the UV lamp guarantee longer retention?
It is not possible to guarantee specific retention based solely on the use of a UV lamp. Durability depends on the entire workflow, the adhesive used, the preparation of natural lashes, the application technique and subsequent aftercare.
Are UV extensions suitable for clients with an allergy to lash adhesive?
The UV system does not exclude an allergic reaction. UV adhesives may contain ingredients to which the client is hypersensitive; therefore, UV technology cannot be considered a solution for an existing allergy.
Do I need protective glasses while working?
When working professionally with UV light, we recommend using protective glasses suitable for the 395–400 nm wavelength and following the safety instructions for the device.
