Product detailed description

Gentle enzymatic exfoliation without scrubbing the skin

Give your skin a new beginning with ItalWax Help Line Enzymatic Peeling Powder – an innovative powder peeling that harnesses the power of enzymes for the gentle removal of dead skin cells.

Unlike classic mechanical scrubs, it contains no abrasive particles. Instead of scrubbing, it uses enzymatic exfoliation, which helps loosen dead cells from the surface layer of the skin (stratum corneum).

Regular use contributes to smoother and softer skin, improved structure, optical reduction of pores, and an even skin tone.

Ideal skin preparation before depilation

Proper skin preparation is an essential part of professional depilation.

ItalWax Enzymatic Peeling Powder can be incorporated as a preparatory step before depilation, also known as a welcome ritual or reset body treatment.

By removing accumulated dead cells, it helps smooth the skin surface and prepare it for the subsequent depilation treatment.

Regular exfoliation can also help prevent ingrown hairs, which is among the common problems after depilation.

Papain, bromelain and pumpkin extract

The peeling effect is based on a combination of exfoliating enzymes and nourishing ingredients.

Papain (1–5 %) – an enzyme derived from papaya that helps break down dead cells on the skin surface and supports its natural renewal.

Bromelain – an enzyme derived from pineapple that contributes to gentle enzymatic exfoliation.

Pumpkin extract – a plant ingredient containing naturally occurring antioxidants and other substances used in skin care.

The formula is complemented by malic acid (AHA), aloe vera and allantoin, which contribute to smoothing, softening, and skin comfort.

Professional and home care

Thanks to its powder form, the peeling is easily prepared by mixing with a small amount of lukewarm water.

In a beauty salon, it can be used as a supplement for skin preparation before depilation. For home care, it is intended for use once a week, helping to keep the skin smooth, soft and optically radiant.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of enzymatic peeling before depilation?

Enzymatic peeling helps remove dead skin cells and smooth the skin's surface. This prepares the skin for the subsequent depilation treatment and can help reduce ingrown hairs.

How often should ItalWax Enzymatic Peeling Powder be used at home?

For home care, the manufacturer recommends use once a week on clean, dry skin.

What is the difference between enzymatic and mechanical peeling?

Mechanical peeling removes dead cells by friction using abrasive particles. Enzymatic peeling uses enzymes that help loosen dead cells without mechanical scrubbing of the skin.

Does enzymatic peeling help against ingrown hairs?

Regular removal of dead cells can help reduce the risk of ingrown hairs. However, the peeling does not guarantee the complete elimination of this problem.

Can enzymatic peeling reduce pores?

Peeling cannot permanently change the size of the pores. By removing dead cells, however, it can visually soften their appearance and improve the overall skin structure.

Warning

Do not use on broken, irritated, or burnt skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use the product if you are hypersensitive to papaya, pineapple, or any of the product ingredients. If significant burning or irritation occurs during application, rinse the product off immediately.
