Élan Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% – Professional Eyebrow Oxidizing Emulsion

Élan Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% is a professional oxidizing emulsion designed for mixing with colors and lightening products from the ÉLAN professional line. It is part of a professional eyebrow coloring and lightening system and helps achieve an intense, even, and predictable result.

The emulsion is suitable for use with ÉLAN Brow Gel Tint, the proprietary SMART BROW TINTING SYSTEM, as well as with Ultramarine and Carbon eyebrow lightening powders. Thanks to its creamy consistency, it mixes easily, applies well, and allows the brow stylist to work cleanly and precisely.

What is Élan Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% used for?

This oxidizing emulsion is used in professional eyebrow coloring and lightening. It activates the coloring or lightening mixture, promotes even action, and helps create a stable result on the hairs.

When coloring eyebrows, it is mixed with the color in a 1:1 ratio. When using a booster, a ratio of 49% color + 49% oxidizing emulsion + 2% booster is recommended.

When lightening eyebrows, it is mixed with lightening powder in a 2:1 ratio, meaning two parts oxidizing emulsion and one part powder.

Eyebrow coloring with Élan 3.5% emulsion

Before coloring, we recommend degreasing the eyebrows and skin using ÉLAN Detox-Mousse. Then create the desired eyebrow shape with a suitable mapping product.

In a non-metallic container, mix the color with the oxidizing emulsion in a 1:1 ratio. Apply the mixture to the eyebrows according to the created shape and let it develop:

• ÉLAN SMART BROW TINTING SYSTEM: 5–10 minutes
• ÉLAN Brow Gel Tint: 5–15 minutes

After the time has elapsed, remove the mixture with a cotton pad moistened with water. Finally, we recommend using ÉLAN Colour Fix, which helps to fix the achieved result.

Eyebrow lightening with Élan Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5%

When lightening, mix Élan Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% with Carbon or Ultramarine powder in a 2 : 1 ratio. First, apply the mixture to the coarser hairs and then spread it over the entire eyebrow area.

The exposure time is 3–15 minutes depending on the desired result and hair thickness. After achieving the desired shade, remove the mixture with a cotton pad moistened with water. To end the chemical reaction, use ÉLAN Detox-Mousse and then apply ÉLAN Colour Fix.

Important: after lightening the eyebrows, it is not recommended to perform standard eyebrow coloring in a 1:1 ratio, as the hairs may darken to black.

The product is intended exclusively for professional use. Contains hydrogen peroxide. Before use, a sensitivity test must be performed 48 hours in advance. When working, use protective gloves and do not use metal containers or metal tools.
