Élan LASH CurlUP 2.0 Step 1 Airless Bottle is part of a two-step professional lash lifting system. This first step is intended for the initial phase of the procedure, in which the natural eyelashes are prepared to create the desired rotation.
The product gently and effectively softens the eyelash cuticle, lifts the hair scales and allows active ingredients to penetrate the lash structure. This makes eyelashes more pliable and ready to be remodeled into shape according to the chosen silicone curler.
How does Step 1 work?
Step 1 helps remodel disulfide bonds in eyelashes and create the foundation for a new curl. It contains ammonium hydroxide, which promotes the penetration of active ingredients into the hair and helps adjust its structure so that it is ready for curling.
The formula is supplemented with a conditioning complex with hydrating ingredients, keratin and collagen, which help retain moisture, reduce breakage, and promote a fuller, more flexible appearance of eyelashes.
The product has a pH of 9.0 – 9.5.

Lash lifting procedure
Before starting the procedure, it is necessary to assess the condition and structure of the client's eyelashes. The exposure time is determined by the type of eyelashes:
- thick or flat eyelashes: 12–15 minutes
- medium or mild eyelashes: 6–12 minutes
Eyelashes cleanse with Élan Detox-Mousse, attach a suitable silicone curler to the upper eyelid and apply the eyelashes using a fixing gel and applicator.
Step 1 Apply to the area where you want to create the lash arch and leave it on according to your eyelash type. The maximum exposure time must not exceed the recommended time for the given type of eyelashes. After the time has elapsed, remove excess product with a dry brush in the direction of eyelash growth and continue with Step 2.
Important when using Step 2
In the next step of the lash lift, Step 2 is applied to the same area where Step 1 was used. The amount of product in the second step should be the same as in Step 1 and the exposure time of Step 2 must be the same as the exposure time of Step 1. Reducing the time for the second step is not recommended.
After completing the procedure, it is recommended to tint the eyelashes for a more pronounced effect and then use Élan Detox-Mousse to stop the chemical reaction and Élan Colour Fix for the best result.
