Élan Eyebrow Tint Removing Expert System BROW D-COLOR 2.0 Emulsion 2 is the second emulsion of a professional system designed to remove accumulated artificial pigment from eyebrow hairs. This system was created for brow stylists who need to address overly dark coloring results, repeated layering of color, or undesirable darkening of eyebrows after tinting.

BROW D-COLOR 2.0 acts on artificial pigment accumulated in the hairs, without affecting the natural eyebrow pigment. Thanks to this, it allows for controlled color correction without unnecessary interference with the natural hair color.

Important: Emulsion 2 is never used alone

Emulsion 1 and Emulsion 2 must always be used together in a 1:1 ratio. Emulsions must not be used separately and must not be replaced by other products.

What is BROW D-COLOR 2.0 for?

The system helps to remove even very intense and dark synthetic pigment that has accumulated in the eyebrow hairs after repeated dyeing. It is ideal for the problem of the so-called over-darkening effect, when the eyebrows appear too dark, have a harsh impression, or do not match the client's desired shade.

You can use it for:

• complete removal of accumulated artificial pigment
• partial correction of eyebrow color
• softening of an excessively dark dyeing result
• tone correction after unsuccessful dyeing

Complete removal or partial correction

For complete color removal, Emulsion 1 and Emulsion 2 are mixed in a 1:1 ratio and applied to the eyebrows. The exposure time is 5–15 minutes depending on the hair condition, the amount of accumulated pigment, and the desired result.

For partial correction, the skin around the eyebrows can be protected with Élan Skin Protector 2.0 to remove pigment only from the hairs and preserve the result on the skin.

Option to adjust warm or cool undertone

After removing the synthetic pigment, the resulting undertone can be further influenced. To achieve a cooler undertone, after the main phase is completed, Élan Oxidizing Emulsion 3% can be used for 3–5 minutes. If you want to maintain a warmer undertone, the oxidant is not used in this stage and you continue with the next step of the procedure.

How to use Élan BROW D-COLOR 2.0?

First, assess the condition of the hairs, the amount of accumulated pigment, and the desired result. In a non-metallic container, mix Emulsion 1 and Emulsion 2 in a 1:1 ratio and apply the mixture to the eyebrows with a brush. Leave on for 5–15 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, apply Élan Detox-Mousse 2.0 to stop the chemical reaction, and remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water. If the result is not yet sufficient, prepare a fresh mixture and apply it again for another 2–5 minutes.

Finally, we recommend using Élan Colour Fix with keratin and sunflower oil as a leave-in treatment for a better result and comfort of the hairs.
