Mix Élan Carbon Eyebrow Bleaching Powder with the oxidizing emulsion in a ratio of 1 : 3, i.e. one part powder and three parts oxidizing emulsion. First, apply the mixture to the thicker hairs, then spread it over the entire surface of the eyebrow with a brush.
The exposure time is approximately 1–3 minutes depending on the desired result and hair thickness. Once you have achieved the desired shade, remove the mixture with a cotton swab dampened with water and then use Élan Detox-Mousse to stop the chemical reaction.
INTENSE technique – significant lightening by 3–5 tones
The INTENSE technique is suitable for more intense eyebrow lightening.
Mix the powder with the oxidizing emulsion in a ratio of 1 : 2, i.e., one part powder and two parts oxidizing emulsion. Apply the mixture first to the coarser hairs and then spread it evenly over the entire eyebrows.
The exposure time is approximately 5–15 minutes depending on the desired degree of lightening and hair structure. After completion, remove the mixture with water, apply Élan Detox-Mousse, and then we recommend using Élan Colour Fix as a no-rinse treatment after lightening.
Subsequent toning after lightening
After lightening the eyebrows, classic coloring in the standard ratio of color : oxidant 1 : 1 is not recommended, as the hairs may darken to black.
If it is necessary to add intensity to the eyebrows after lightening, a gentler procedure with color, oxidant, and argan protective cream in a ratio of 1 : 1 : 4 is recommended. The mixture is applied briefly, for approximately 1–2 minutes, and then thoroughly removed.
